ALERT: Schneider Electric Expands Renewable Energy RFI to European Developers

The world’s leading advisor to commercial & industrial (C&I) buyers on renewable energy opportunities, Schneider Electric’s Energy & Sustainability Services (SE-ESS), is working to match leading renewable energy project solutions with our corporate clients’ renewable energy project goals and aspirations around the globe—including our own corporate energy purchasing strategy.

We are witnessing a significant increase in corporate client activities as markets emerge, sustainability goals expand, and renewable energy projects offer financial opportunities.  The rapid growth of the North American PPA market encourages multinational energy buyers to seek similar solutions for their remaining load and we specifically have multiple NEO Network members actively engaging to understand renewable energy capabilities in Europe.

The imminent European RFI to be released by SE-ESS will help us better assess your capabilities and enable you to position your respective projects in RFP solicitations for renewable energy power purchase agreements (PPAs). Some of these processes are already underway.

The European RFI follows on from a successful North American launch earlier this year, and the impending release of the second iteration in North America. You can download the executive summary here for a snapshot of the results, as well as key market findings from nearly 140,000 MW of renewable energy projects in the development pipeline.

The RFI will become available for European developers to participate beginning the first week of January. Your participation and any information you disclose to us will be held in confidence.  You will also receive an Executive Summary of the overall RFI results upon conclusion. We urge you to respond quickly, as the inclusion of your data in the RFI will help us consider your organization on immediate and future requests for renewable energy proposals from our corporate clients.**

**If you have any projects in Poland and/or Benelux seeking PPAs, please respond ASAP to be considered for client processes seeking substantial load.
