Farrukh Shad is the Head of Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business for Asia Pacific, India, Middle East & Africa region (APMEA). He is currently based in Dubai, and he is responsible for managing the region’s Energy, Sustainability Services and Sustainability Consulting organization, with the mission to help large enterprises deliver climate mitigation actions and reduce carbon emissions using technological solutions. Leading the Global Team, he crafts unique strategies & solutions that help clients navigate the multitude of challenges in emerging markets in the region as they work towards meeting their and their suppliers’ renewable energy and carbon neutrality goals.

Farrukh has strong leadership mainly on strategic transformation and change management which he has demonstrated over the last 10 years in a couple of roles in Schneider Electric itself. He is not afraid to experiment, innovate, and challenge the status quo to bring positive results and business transformation. He is passionate about leading clients in the journey from passive to active energy management and progressing the sustainability agendas of energy producers and consumers. As he is a digital native, he fundamentally believes that digitization should be leveraged to propel sustainability.
