Mike serves as the Vice President of Sustainability Development for Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business. In this role, he spearheads the company's client development initiatives in sustainability consulting and technology services. Under his leadership, Schneider Electric has earned recognition as one of the world’s most sustainable companies, featuring in Corporate Knights’ Global 100, CDP’s A List, and Ethisphere’s Most Ethical Companies for 11 consecutive years.
Over the past decade, Mike and his team have been instrumental in the decarbonization efforts of numerous leading commercial and industrial companies worldwide. They have guided these companies in setting and achieving emission reduction targets and realizing significant cost savings. Mike has also been pivotal in developing key service offerings such as Climate Change Advisory and Supply Chain Decarbonization.
A recognized authority in global sustainability development, Mike’s teams have collaborated with companies at various stages of their sustainability journeys. Their efforts have underscored the urgent need for a low-carbon future and the importance of integrating climate risk into business strategies to drive meaningful change.
Mike’s extensive 40-year career in sustainability includes leadership roles in environmental sustainability, stewardship, and management consulting. He co-founded and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Source 44, a pioneer in product footprinting and supply chain sustainability. Before Source 44, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Group Sales and International at Safety-Kleen Systems, the world’s largest fluid recycling and oil re-refining company. There, he led a 250-person team and directed the company’s expansion into China, Southeast Asia, and Mexico. Mike holds a B.S. from Murray State University’s Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business.
