Multiple rounds of federal funding have been authorized for schools in the last 12 months, first with the March 2020 CARES Act, then the December 2020 CRRSA, and most recently with the March 2021 American Rescue Plan. The funds can be used in a variety of ways, including to address critical infrastructure and aging facilities.
