North Carolina School District Saves $1M with Performance Contracting

As a small community on the coast of North Carolina, Brunswick County is prone to unpredictable flooding and devastating infrastructure damage. The District was unable to afford necessary mechanical improvements and was in the process of applying for a loan when Schneider Electric stepped in. With the introduction of modern HVAC and building control systems, Brunswick County was able to reduce energy use, improve its facilities’ indoor air quality, and provide students with a more comfortable learning environment.
