City Funds Economic Development Effort with Energy Savings

The City of Tupelo, Mississippi, partnered with Schneider Electric to reinvest savings from energy conservation improvements in its community. Energy efficiency upgrades in municipal buildings funded new, competition-level lighting on 27 sports fields that will attract new sport tourism opportunities and promote local economic development.
