WWF on Science-Based Targets

Companies have and continue to set targets to contribute to global sustainability efforts. That’s nothing new. But what has changed is the thinking around how those goals are developed. There’s an increasing emphasis on aligning corporate environmental objectives with climate science. SBTs provide companies with a pathway to set goals that will help limit global warming to below 1.5 degrees Celsius. And the practice is gaining traction. How can other organizations follow suit?
