Climate Change & Sustainability at the Heart of the CEO Alliance

On July 7, 2021, Schneider Electric welcomed at its Paris office members of the CEO Alliance to discuss how we can further support climate targets of the European Union to become the first carbon-neutral continent by 2050. With other like-minded European companies, we work together on practical solutions in cross-sector climate protection projects. At Schneider, we believe that digital technologies and electrification are key to preserving our environment and building a better future for all. With the CEO Alliance we back together the European Green Deal and the EU plan to cut carbon emissions by 55% by 2030. Chief Digital Officer Peter Weckesser attended this meeting and shares in this video the importance of those CEOs meeting to discuss tangible and actionable plans to meet Europe’s Green Deal.
