Save Energy & Reduce Energy Waste For a Sustainable Future in the UK

This London time-lapse video shows the true extent of energy waste in London pre-pandemic where Schneider Electric captured 5,400 high-definition images of light levels across the city skyline.  Schneider Electric's research has shown that between 8:00 pm and midnight, the time when people typically head home and retire to bed, light levels across London only fall by 30 percent and remained more or less constant until 4:00 am the following morning. By depicting energy waste in London, Schneider Electric hopes to help change perceptions and encourage action to meet net-zero targets and build a greener future.
